The Phoenix Troop spent the weekend at Ardwhallan Outdoor Pursuits Centre over the 4. – 6. March 2016.

After settling in the evening was spent doing orienteering, followed by a wide game and then supper around a fire in the Viking Longhouse.

On Saturday morning, activities included the Low Level Rope Course, Cheese Crane, Archery and Backwoods Cooking. After lunch, around half the Troop went on a mountain bike hike while the other half did a normal hike. After tea, we held another wide game before finishing the evening with a video.

On Sunday morning, the Scouts were given an extra half hour lie in. We visited the NSC for swimming. After lunch the house was tidied up and there was a bit of free time before parents arrived to collect the Scouts.

We were very lucky with the weather as it stayed dry and sunny all weekend.
